The Congregational Life Team is responsible for building community within the church. This team of volunteers provides refreshments for after-church coffee, organizes regular social events, and creates a welcoming space for everyone.

The Worship Team works with the congregation to provide meaningful worship services. They develop policies for weddings, baptisms, and funerals, and oversee the membership list.

The Pastoral Care Team works with the minister to provide crisis care, visit people in their homes, support newcomers, and provide compassionate pastoral support and referrals as needed.

The Social Justice Team focuses on raising awareness of human rights and environmental issues, promoting congregational activities that reach out to people in the world around us, and building community partnerships. You may see members of this team at the after-church Action Table, writing letters and circulating petitions.

The Faith Development Team facilitates opportunities for faith development and study for all ages. They provide leadership for the Sunday School and small group ministry.

The Finance Team provides financial direction for the congregation. They prepare and recommend an annual budget to support the mission and ministry of the church, and develop and support plans to ensure that the financial needs of the church are met.

The Communication Team assists with Augustine United Church internal and external communication, including development and maintenance of the Augustine United Church website, social media, Message Board on River Avenue, Interior Bulletin Board(s), the Congregational newsletter and the Sunday Worship Bulletin. The Communication Team may assist the Minister or Council with media relations and liaison with the wider Community.
